Wait. Bronze is better than gold?

All this time I thought the medal order was bronze, silver, gold from worst to best but I just noticed that my gold animal has a lower rating than my bronze one.

So that's confusing or is it just me? I'm also confused on why some animals have medals and some don't and why some animals without medals have higher appeal than ones with medals?

You would think that would translate to better appeal as well though. So now I'm not sure which I Want in my habitats, high appeal or better medals.

Depends on your situation. Better genetics means you can sell your animals in the trading center for more money, which will allow you to expand your zoo because you can use those credits to buy different kinds of animals. Higher appeal brings more people to your zoo.

Ask yourself: are you more focused on zoo revenue or conservation credits?
