I've perused the forums and I know there is a lot of speculation that "legs" will be a far-distant update, perhaps one some of us never live to see. And one of the more sensible reasons for this is "set dressing" - the time-consuming issue of applying appropriate decoration to all of the environments that would be required for players to "get out and walk".
So I had a novel idea for that particular problem: let the players do the decorating.
Give us the tools to be "architects" on existing structures that need to be described visually, and then submit those decorations for review - sorta the way that architects submit proposals. Then install the best one. It would essentially be crowd-sourcing interior location decoration. And give the players CREDITS for successfully submitting a proposal. That way Frontier only has to develop the mechanics, and then let the player-base develop the setting!
