Newbie here. (purchased base game yesterday)
I've played around with all settings and somewhat worked out by searching, "T" toggles looking around using mouse, from a point where the pointer is or from where you're positioned.
Would be easier for me maybe to walk around, like eg original doom. no side to side movement.
Managing to look up/down using mouse in order to go up/down stairs.
Seen on YouTube videos that ppl do walk around parks as if you were there irl.
any tips to help me get comfortable?
maybe I should play from the beginning, but I just loaded up parks from the workshop to look around as a start point.
I'm not a seasoned gamer, just for fun and escape from reality for a bit.
