The walking around ships is nothing new and is something that players have wanted since the game came out. It would be a nice addition to the game and would probably bring more people in to play it as well. Now that that is out of the way, what about AI shipmates? I am aware that a lot of the ships functions are automated, but it still seems very unrealistic to have a single pilot controlling something the size of the Anaconda, let alone the Clipper and Corvette, all by themselves. Even if it was just for immersion purposes, a good edition to the game would be to have AI's walking around your ship. This would be a more accurate representation of what it would be like on a larger ship. They don't have to do anything that effects gameplay. They would fill up the seats when not in multi-crew, they would walk around doing what ever it they'd do, and it would help refine the bridge-like experience. When Frontier finally makes it to where you can walk around your ship without the loading (i.e. you have load individual parts of the ship instead of it being fluid) the AI's will make it seem you are in charge of a crew. I just think that this would be a good and very much welcome edition into the game. Let me know what you think below.
