Walkthrough attractions

They are perfect for:
Themed walkthrough (Halloween Scare Mazes)
Scenic walks through gardens
Behind the scenes tours of other rides
Hedge mazes (With multiple predetermined routes)
Bringing guests through areas of the park they’d normally miss

Yes this is something that is difficult to do at the moment. You can make indoor mazes and fill them with spooky stuff, but you can’t have one way paths unless it’s a queue path leading to a ride. Maybe hide the ride in a building or underground.

I would love walkthrough type attractions, maybe paths can have trigger points too, and we can decide number of seconds between peeps entering, otherwise triggers wouldn't have effect.

Hmm, that list you posted sounds extremely familiar to me... almost like I've heard it from another game
(Please don't directly copy Pixel Park posts - I spend a lot of time building/presenting these features [happy])

Please don't commit to backseat moderation. Report a post if you think that something is wrong, and let the moderation team deal with it. Thanks!

In this case, it's a suggestion for new features for Planet Coaster, which is perfectly fine. Suggesting a feature does not break any rules.

That being said, I wish you all the best with Pixel Park :)

Apologies Joël, that wasn't my intention! I appreciate that suggesting a feature is perfectly fine, but in this case the message was directly taken from one of my posts that I had spent time putting together. To see it directly copied without credit was quite disheartening, but I understand it probably falls within the rules. Also, thank you! [happy]

This is something I would really like to see! I did something similar with my own park a few months ago, but it was more of a scenic walkthrough that walked by some coasters giving good shots of them.

I would like this feature too!

Wouldn't be to hard to implement. Would work like making any paths. Maybe attach some trigger spots and look out spots on the way. Would be awesome. +1 [up]

I would love walk through attractions as well. Excitement should be based off scenery and animatronics use which night be hard to quantify. Custom maze and mini golf would be cool as well.

Perhaps mazes can work with two path types... (The solution path which leads to the exit that guests never backtrack on, which you place first, and then the branching paths that guests can get "lost" on... As well as a monitoring station that has to be connected to the path which sends out a themed guide to lead/chase lost guest back to the solution path... as well as what you click on to set the limit on how many guests you allow into the maze at once and how long they are allowed to be lost for before the guide is sent out to put them back on the solution path...)

Could we have that for Queues, too, please? I would love to add pre-ride-scenery in a more suitable manner. Would come handy with triggerable barriers as mentioned in the other thread. [big grin]

Wasn't there a possibility in RCT (don't remember which) to put a sign for the visitors to not go that way ?
Would be as simple as that, just putting a sign at the exit, so guests only come in from the entrance.
