General / Off-Topic want to buy a music player device

So I want to get back into running again. My iPod gave up the ghost ages ago. So I have 2 requests here really.

1) Need something that's light, decent make/build quality with a reasonable amount of storage - needs to be able to download from......the next question....

2) Which legal download service is the best these days? I cant be bothered anymore with the clunk of iTunes. Any recommendations?

Look up Sony Walkman.
There are quite a few variations available these days and going relatively cheap on eBay, or go brand new, top of the range direct from Sony.
I still buy CDs at stores, rip them on the laptop to MP3 files and copy them to the device. I also use Google Music, then download the MP3 files on the laptop.

There's my suggestion, no doubt other will have different suggestions.

Literally any phone, Amazon Prime Music or Google Play music and a half decent set of earphones.

I was given (a few years ago) a Sansa Clip. Sansa is a division of Sandisk. The Clip has a capacity of 8GB. They have updated them since. I am happy with the quality of the audio, while the size is also useful.

I also have a previous generation Salsa, it's a good option if you don't want to worry about damaging/theft of your phone and cheaper than a new Sony Walkman.
