Elite / Frontier Want to play FFE again

but can't on my system.

Don't suppose anyone has a BOOT CD that would work with FFE?

i'm on a newish gaming rig, so usb drivers will need to be there, but basically any ideas on what to do for a bootCD would be nice, then i could put the game on too, and store my savegames on HDD (got no floppy drive before you make the suggestion)

Liking that, but i was hoping for FFE more.

Just re-learning all the controls.

JJFFE is a good package, shame about the gfx, but you can play it full screen

GLFFE ? seen GLFrontier, - gong hunting

And how to select autopilot destination from the local system map

your smashing, full of usefull things.

now all i need to know is when on an assisnation run how do i get my on board pooter to give me the ship readout and more importantly the hyperspace destination.

I've got scanner, hypspc ana., radar mapper etc. when i get attacked and target the attacker the combat computer gives me all ship details on side, but when i'm the assassin it doesn't display this after i've targeted my contract ship.

You need to switch from nav to combat mode and use combat selection (red).

whoop nice one, that works a treat.

now i can get all frontiered up to the max again (already been going to bed at 1.30 - 2.30am :eek:

just got one more issue, but that will be another post as its unrelated to the game controls :)

<insert slightly naughty word>, the hyperspace cloud analyser still not picking up the destination, i said works a treat as i'd selected combat computer then targeted ship, that was fine, and took it to be ok.

but i get no readout when they hyperspace, even though target stays locked onto their cloud

Press analyser icon roughly in the middle of combat panel, then.

ahh right, didn't know what that was, thought that was the hyperdrive activation :)
