WANTED: A Little help!

So I'm wanted by a single faction in a system. I have a 5k bounty (I killed one of their friends that had a 10k bounty.) I can't dock at one of their stations without getting blown up.

How do I get good with that faction?

You can only get good by paying your bounty off. Are you sure you cant dock, I docked fine when I was wanted. Maybe you need to get in before they scan you or try to sneak in, Maybe fly to an independent and see if you can pay your fine off there. Not 100% sure if thats possible.

I was always able to dock when my bounty was under 500cr, but now it's boom time. It seems that scans stop as soon as you get inside, and don't complete. I'll give that a try.

Depends who a station belongs to. You can click a station in system map and see if you are wanted by the faction that runs it. If not, go in, pay your fine at the Pilot Federation. If all stations have you as wanted, go to a system where you are not (eg an Alliance or Empire system if you are wanted in Fed space). Anarchy should always let you in, as far as I know, they pretty much don't care.

Go to one of the other stations in the system and find a faction mission for rep with them. If one doesn't come up at first, wait about 5 minutes and refresh the BB.
