Wanted: A New Home

Hello Cmdrs,

As the title states, I am looking for a new home. I have been looking on my own for quite some time now, but haven't been able to find a place that meets my criteria. I thought I'd enlist the services of the Pilot's Federation for some assistance, it's a big galaxy after all.

I'd like to find somewhere along the border of Federation and Empire space. A staging area that I can use to continue gaining rank with the Federation and launch raids into Empire space (and perhaps vice versa, depending on the contract. A man has his principles after all).

My ideal criteria:

-Orbital Station nearby entry star (bonus if within 200ls)
-High Tech or nearby High Tech with good selection of ships/modules
-RES sites (preferably Haz Res plus some other) near station for quick bounty hunting/crew training
-Somewhere within the Engineer "Loop" (bonus if near Farseer)

Any assistance my fellow Cmdrs can provide will be much appreciated.

LHS 1832 and WW Piscis Austrini meet your criterias ... RES sites in LHS 1832 are a bit more far out though. for outfitting you have to check by yourself.

Base out of Deciat. That's where Farseer is.

Best thing to do is reference the GalMap and look for candidates. You left out Independent, Alliance, Federation or Empire. Kinda important.

If you don't mind basing yourself in Empire space Vaka (it is a high tech system) isn't too bad and it is pretty close to some Fed systems also.....there is at least a handful within 15-20 LY....I have used it as a home base in the past.

Thanks for the quick responses all. I will take a look at all the suggestions once I'm able to log on and bring up the map.

Feel free to keep them coming, more options are always welcome.
