So you attack a Wanted Fed Gunship. It's all good, going fine, until they launch their SLF and your plasma blast hits it on launch. Because you haven't scanned it, you are now wanted.
I now have to do extra running around to clear this status and regain station priveleges.
I'm hoping this is an oversight, because now your improved friendly fire system comes with way more harsh consequences.
Should Wanted NPCs have Report Crimes on at all? They are Wanted in that system, they should be fair game whether they are scanned or not. Committing murder without knowing the legal status of the target should incur some kind of bounty like manslaughter. But this new system makes bounty hunting even more tedious.
How about adding the crew and SLF contained within a ship on scan to resolved status, so that when they launch they are already known and assigned Wanted status? Therefore no Bounty incurred.
