I know if your ship is blown up and you have say 100k in bounties this will be lost, along with any cargo, exploration data etc.
What happens if you are wanted and have 100k on your head, is that zero'ed upon death? And then you just have the re-buy insurance cost?

Bounties on one's own head are cleared only when doing so manually - death doesn't wipe them. Unless that has changed...
I guess that makes sense as a game play mechanic to prevent people from being 'Super Bad' and amassing a huge bounty. It could also be a game exploit potentially as well.
Guess my transition to the dark side will have to wait....
but but.. join the dark side... we got cookies....
oh i feel that pain to some extent, currently saving for a new A class power plant myself. just its a A7 i'm looking and i just need a paltry 34 millions (with my current unit as trade-in) to get it add some insurance to that and operating capital... well yeah, you get the idea..
cool idea of the mugshots, would add character once our collective commanders remember where we all put our heads (they still seem missing)
btw, on that topic, check your mail if you haven't yet.![]()
Can I just say that ship destruction does not equal death. We do not die in ED hence bounties against us remain until we deal with them and pay them off.
