I seriously think the wanted status for a player having a bounty of needs to be tweaked

shooting an innocent passerby or more often the Federal security force by accident because they fly into your stream of fire is frustrating.....

implement a system where we can pay our fines on the spot or tweak it

Do you want to be fined when the police scraps your car with his?Because this is whats happening in ED now....

I agree!
I think the level should be set to 1000 credits before you become 'wanted' so minor offences are easier to pay off!

I also agree! I would also add the option to not report crimes on people in your friends list with the added option to not make them turn red in your HUD if they accidentally shoot you, or even an option to change if they are red or not. that way you still have crime reporting on for other players but not friends, if that makes sense.

bounty or fines

I do agree that there should be a thousand CR bounty minimum for officers (and maybe AI) as most players wont go for a <1K bounty. Another thing that they can do is give you a fine instead of a bounty, so you do not get a wanted level, then you could just pay off the fine directly to an officer. Would work well with docking to say you a trespassing fine when you are leaving that station instead of having to re-dock you can just pay it off to an officer or the station.
