Newcomer / Intro WAR: Conflict Zones vs. Military Mission

Hi,
I am trying one of the faction in the war. I had lots of problems to kill more than one ship in Conflict Zone (I use Vulture), so I decided to do some Military Missions. Do they count to the war results as combat in Military Zone?

A war is decided by winning battles in conflict zones (first faction to dominate 4 out of 7 days). Other missions for a faction at war count towards that faction's security, economy and influence. Combat bonds count for the war but you have to fight in a conflict zone to get them. I don't know how (or if) the missions and combat bonds are combined with the battle results to get the final score each day.

There are different levels of combat zone (CZ) intensity. Perhaps try one of the lesser ones (ie low). The ships in CZs tend to be fully engineered combat ships, so unless you have some level of engineering they can be quite difficult.

Yes, military missions will count. Not as much as winning CZs or handing in Combat Bonds but they do count towards the hidden score for winning each day of the war.

As GeoJase said above, try Low Combat Zones where you only need to kill approx 8 ships and there's no Spec Ops to worry about.
Start with the smallest ships on the enemy side and then move on to other small ships that have already been damaged or lost their shields. Once you've killed the easiest targets look for where your team are ganging up on a single enemy. Join them to finish that one off and then follow them to their next target.

If your side controls a system anywhere, then handing in Bounties is another good option. Little and often, a big pile has the same effect as a small pile.
