War yet not a single CZ in the system

I ran into a strange bug in a system we're trying to take control of. The system has no planets, only an outpost. The war has started, yet there are no conflict zones to actually fight the war. They are usually close to planets and is seems the BGS can`t seem to be able to generate CZs with no planets in the system. The system is called UMPILAKAP.

Anyone has ever seen something like this ? Any idea how to win the war ? I don't think a bug report will solve this fast enough.

It can sometimes take a little while for the CZs to show up on the first day of the conflict and restarting your client may help.

If they don't, bounty hunting can get you results - easier to hunt in a system you already control than to hope you get lucky with a KWS.

Oooohh, KWS! So if I use that and only shoot ships that my favorite faction wants, then that faction will get the INF / security buff for the bounties?

So my problem is not the lack of CZs, but rather the emptiness in these CZs. There's nobody here! I remember reading something about this back when I didn't care about CZs, but now that I do care, what's the deal?

Did you try another CZ in the system ? I had this one a long time ago, now I have the one quit often where you choose a side, half the ships turn red, yet there is no meter for the win. At least I can still turn in the bonds and help my faction.

No CZs whatsoever is far worse. Especially in a system that has no bodies, so my only shot at bounties is the nav beacon.

I logged out and back in and that seemed to fix the problem. FWIW (and on topic), my war did spawn multiple CZs, so it must be a system-specific bug.

If the CZs fail to appear by tomorrow, you can get Bounties for your faction in any of the other systems you're in as Ian said, then cash them in Umpilakap. Also, any war-themed missions for your faction from Bushnell Refinery will count towards victory (particularly combat missions such as assassinations, massacres, megaship attacks, etc.)

I also had success during my tests with non-war themed missions (in this case, they were Boom time deliveries). While I'd happily say the jury is still out... it's worth noting any mission type, regardless of if it's war or some other state, behave the same way visually when you submit them, that is, there is no influence progress bar as influence (suggesting the influence redirects somewhere else)... again, that's true for any mission, not just war ones, so it'd be fair to assume they also count.

If the battle is over and you leave and go back to the same CZ before cashing in, no ships will spawn, even though you will be able to pick a side. Same thing happens if you have to make a quick exit and then try to return.
I try to do CZs in pairs, going from one to the next before returning to base to make the claim.
