I'm sure some of these will have been posted befor but they certainly cant be hurt by a reiteration. PLEASE NOTE Some of these are aesthetic changes. And should be viewed as a YOU DON'T HAVE TO CHANGE IT BUT IF OTHER PEOPLE WANT TO THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO!
#1: A turn in ALL button for universal cartographics. I went exploring for a few hours. It's Going to take that long to turn each of them in.
#2: The market/outfitting is in desperate need of an overhaul. Sortable/searchable lists/tabs. A good example of what works well can be found in eve-online. Not suggesting you copy it just use it as a base line.
#3: More understandable descriptions/explanations of weapons and equipment including (lore)descriptions. Kinda like the ship descriptions. Those feel alive as in have back ground/meaning.
#4: Customizable UI/Ship interface. Being able to move/scale the menus UIs (especially in VR) Would be great. and an offical way to change the colors would be nice.
#5: More detailed read out on the ships radar hub. Atleast something indicating ranges. maybe even an extra 3d circle or 2 indicating effective weapon ranges and max lockable range)
#6: I have heard of a wingman update or something like that? I hope it comes soon because playing with your friends is a nightmare currently. Needs actual squadron options.
Form group.
Easy to see where friends are in hub and a visual representation on screen(as if they were targeted or something similar).
Locate on map options. Make it easier to follow them into things like Unknown signals.
Would be cool if you could form a wing where the leader takes control of the other players and they all form up properly like the NPCs do until they touch their controls again to break off and engage.
Maybe a hotkey or easy way to target assist the wing leader (for focusing fire)
Alot of the group ideas could even be made into internal gear/hardpoint so working togeather is easier but requires an investment.
#7: This is a game where you can pay off murder charges for 6000cr(or there abouts)? Yet a parking violation 200cr (aka system authority ship bumps into you or vice versa), Is met with lethal force? Perhaps a minimum bounty befor the NPCs/stations want to obliterate you is in order like say 2000cr? I mean come on. A bump or stray shot shouldn't automatically sentence us to death...
#8: More information on targeting. Enemy ship speed, Include the bounty value and visible display the added bounty info after a warrant scan. for quicker reference in combat situations. Heck make it an upgrade ya can put on your ship.
#9: A buy(can hold)/sell "ALL" button for commodities.
#10: Galaxy map needs some work. At the moment it is very cluncky and generally confusing. Taking long distant journeys is a chore. Should make it to where you can select a destination for plot route regardless of range and it will focus on plotting that route instead of attempting to plot a route infinitely to all systems in a 360 degree bubble. (again some solid examples are avalible in eve-online.)
#11: A different colored indicator of which landing pad is yours.
#12: Longer distance for the headlights on ships. I turn mine on when roaming resource points on the dark side of the planets. But you are basically running into the rocks befor the light from your head lights shows up on them.
#13: A bounty system for independent stations. Allow independent stations to accept bounties from everything but they take a cut off the top.
Like say you have a bounty worth 100k in empire. The station would take 30% of that as a fee for processing the bounty. Could even make it so that your reputation with the station effects the fee.
This could also be done with main faction stations with individual independent stations at the same exchange rate of 30% based on rank/rep.
