I had the above warning many times whilst being attacked by an NPC pirate just now. Lots of green things seemed to shoot towards him every time I had the warning. Is this my point defence? I'm pretty sure I have nothing else that shoots green things from my Cobra, and though I've been fitting them since day one I'm not sure if they've ever activated before (I lead a quiet life!)
Also, he was not chaffing me but even though I was right on his nose at times my beam lasers (gimballed) were not focusing but my missiles were. I'm sure he wasn't chaffing me as I've seen that before, and yet at a couple of hundred metres my beams were giving me the red cross can't focus thing. My missiles chased him away (unfortunately he survived) until System Security arrived and told me to be on my way. Bleddin' Polis!
