Oh, I dunno, If you ever go get a Hutton mug you can 'set and forget'... to a degree, you've time to do the shopping, or even catch up on an episode or two of your favourite soap, that said, in the good ol' days of the ADS I'd punch in a trip to scan a planet many hundreds of kls away and set about an alternate task in the real world only to return and find I had twice the original distance to travell back after overshooting...lolI don't think the game is designed for AFK play.
You've never spent +10 min in SC, have you?I don't think the game is designed for AFK play.
I have AFK'ed plenty. I just don't think the developers will ever design features to make it so obvious that players are doing that, as if they condone it.Oh, I dunno, If you ever go get a Hutton mug you can 'set and forget'... to a degree, you've time to do the shopping, or even catch up on an episode or two of your favourite soap, that said, in the good ol' days of the ADS I'd punch in a trip to scan a planet many hundreds of kls away and set about an alternate task in the real world only to return and find I had twice the original distance to travell back after overshooting...lol
Same. Especially if you're doing something else and not paying attention. The current interdiction sound effect is quite enough thanks - still makes me jump after 4 years.![]()
Of course. I did the Smeaton runs until it was nerfed, and did the Hutton CG. Made several trips to Hutton Orbital. You've never spent +10 min in SC, have you?
If anything is meant to be AFK'd in ED it's SC.
Granted, the SC assist, if it works, does cut down on the overshooting from semi-afk'ing it, but the point that it takes forever to accelerate and decelerate still stands.
