You are unable to filter out white dwarfs if they are the secondary star in a system, so stein 2051 for example, looks like a red dwarf on the galaxy map, but when you get to it, you can be pulled into the cone of the white dwarf on exiting FTL its very hard to get out of it, before being pulled back into normal space. ive lost my cutter once, and nearly 3 times because of this system.
also be aware, for some reason if you get pulled out of super cruise, i was unable to engage frameshift, i had to log out of game, then back in, and suddenly frameshift works again, even though its still hard to align with escape vector etc, like really hard.
