to be fair I never thought of that Nerwan. I wonder if he thought I fly for the frogs, I don't i'm not aligned with anyone. well I shall see what happens again tonight. doesn't put me off open just annoys the hell out of me. even the npc's comms you even if they open fire straight after

Well, I wouldn't think of it this way myself but some of the Frogs enemies may regard traders as fair game because the Frogs have in effect sponsored the CG and it's all about a party they're throwing.. They may regard you as a Frog colluder ;-) Just be aware and ready to hi-jump if things turn nasty.

I got interdicted by a CMDR in a corvette while in my cargoconda on this wyrd cg.

He opened fire, no comms. I'm not pledged or wanted. I high waked out and back in and it was still there. He was just waiting near the nav point.

So I just sat in close to the star and waited as was in no hurry to waste more fuel on it. It flew around me for a while then, poof!... It dropped out, too close to star I guess. Silly Billy.

It's been talked about and discussed ad nauseum on other areas of the forum since powerplay was introduced. Nowt much has been changed in all that time. Mainly as FDev have made their position on the multi-mode BGS/Powerplay quite clear. It is what it is.

With instancing, the argument put forward by advocates of open play of those in solo/PG affecting the BGS and powerplay to their detriment is complete nonsense. Like has been mentioned above, you may have 30 Cmdrs in the same area, all flying in open but unable, in the main, to instance with eachother so they remain invisible. The reality of P2P multiplayer I'm afraid..

As for long gone, I've no doubt those with targets to pursue for their private entertainment will harp on about it incessantly

Last week i had a funny encounter with a random CMDR FDL near Jaques station in Super Cruise.. We both jumped in and out SC, i was terrified he was hunting my shieldless trade conda.. Jumped out the system a few times when he lined up behind me, and he jumped out when i was turning to keep him in front of me.

This went on for a few minutes till i finally was able to jump out on Jaques station. The FDL jumped out as well and i asked him if he was hunting me.. His reaction: "LOL! I thought you were hunting me!"

So we both jumped in and out, turned circles around eachother for nothing.. lol

LOL! I just did that same thing in Wyrd! I was in my Corvette, set up for 616 tons of trading goodness, and another vette was "following" me, and we kept bobbing and weaving around on each other until I finally reached the station, and they had popped out before me, and I spotted them boosting into the station at full speed. XD Guess he thought I was hunting him!
