I thought warp drives were supposed to take ships etc at speeds greater than the speed of light? This alleged tech says speeds close to the speed of light. Isn't that impulse speed? Sounds like I'm nitpicking mindyou - thats still damn fast!
Not nitpicking at all - this article has nothing to do with "warp drive" and is all to do with sub light travel to distant stars.
Anyone can make predictions about the future on the assumption that some miraculous technology will be available in the future.
