Do I have to use Target, or can I bind controls to the Warthog using the in game bindings only?

Are there blank diagrams I can download and print out to record which key does what? Thanks.

No you don't need to use Target as the Warthog has a default setup. In fact it should be identified by ED as a Warthog throttle and stick without using the Target software.
There are blank templates and samples of other peoples setups in the forums here. A good search should produce a few. There is a printable blank template here to get you started.
