Warthog question

My CHPro Fighterstick doesn't have twist either - I set SRV steering to the x-axis of the stick - lean stick left, turn left etc - it feels very natural. (X axis still set for roll when SRV is in flight - there is no conflict there.)

I use it together with a twcs throttle. It has a front flap lever that I use for jaw and steering SRVs.
I also have pedals that I have mapped on the same axis, so I can steer with the left (throttle) hand, or with my feed.
That means that on the SRV I can use the regular warthog axis (up-down/left-right) to control the turret while driving the thing with the left hand alone.

This is also how it's animated in the game.

Though OP if I'm honest I'm not a fan Of sticks lacking Z-axis for space sim. Much prefer having turret on the stick as well.

Replaced my old Saitek X55, and tought I would miss the twitch on the stick when buying an new Warthog hotas and TPR pedals...Now I feel that the pedals are more natural then the old stick twitch 😁

In the SRV the pedals is setup left and right steering 👍
