Warzone Missions

I am an Earl of the Empire.
I saw the struggle in Sorbago and went to help my fellow imperial faction there.
I accepted ALOT of warzone missions to destroy ships (5-8 targets each).

Now i have to mention I made a huge mistake by not looking WHO offered the mission...but more later.

I went to the warzone, met a friendly CMDR over there (Greetings CMDR Icefire) and chose my desired faction.
The Mastopolos Mining Inc., which was already allied to me due to my major faction ranking.
We destroyed many rebel ships, granting me completed missions very fast.

So far so good.

Now I went back to the bulletin board to cash my missions in and i realize, half of them where issued by the rebels.
Giving them back results in a major reputation loss for the Empire and their subordinated faction the Mining Inc.
Ok, understood as i worked for the opposing faction.

BUT, why on earth do i get:

1. money from the rebels for destroying their rebel ships?
2. positive reputation from the rebels by destroying their rebel ships?

This is just not thought through.
Please guys have a look at this concept as it makes NO sense at all.

PS: And yes, i am very well aware that i chose the wrong missions, no need for telling me that as this is not my point.
And now brb, trying to get the faction rep back up :D ...need to have a better look

Did you ticket it?

"Commander we need you to kill the Empire oppressors, we see you're a high ranking official, they'll never suspect a thing." *You return* "Thank you commander for killing our ships, you skill as a pilot far exceeds our concern for our forces, have some well earned cash."

Seems fine to me.

Thanks for making me laugh and of course: Ticket #00000012496

LOL, that's just hilarious. Even though I hate empire because they think it's normal to enslave people but in this case I believe rebels need to be simply wasted because of their stupidity... I'll try to stop by the ststions and talk some sense into them, if it will yield no results I am afraid you may find some rebel corpses scattered randomly in space...

But really FD, This sloppy programming is getting annoying...

It applies vice versa to the CMDRs trying to back the rebels as well btw.

This goes even further.
What if i want to act as double agent like David said we could.
How?
If i secretly work for the Empire, how can i more damage my opponent than destroying his ships?
Still this is awarded with negative rep up to the hostile state with the imperial subfaction.
I Wonder how anyone could act as a double Agent within the current game mechanics.

In fact there should be an option displayed "accept as double agent".
I'd really love to act in that way.

im my case i was careful about who i took my missions from (Mastopolos Mining Inc/Imperial Society), and when i returned after dealing with the rebel ships, i got a drop in rep with Mastopolos. >.>
admittedly this isn't every time, it's like 3 steps forwards 2 steps back.

Thanks for your feedback.
I didn't notice it when returning my missions, as i was a little distracted.
And since then it seems Matopolos isn't trusting me enough anymore to issue another warzone mission :(

Still not fixed in 1.1.03. i accepted a warzone mission from allied faction, eliminated the required number of opponents. Upon return i cashed in bonds and mission reward - and my faction reputation shows red down triangle as well as major faction rep loss... Ticketed.
