Was allied with empire and neutral with alliance and federation.

I was allied with the empire from doing numerous missions etc, and neutral with the alliance and federation, now all of a sudden I am not allied with the empire anymore and I'm friendly with all 3 factions, I truly hope this is a bug as I worked very hard to get my allied status.

Have you done anything for them lately?

Reputation with Major and Minor factions now decays over time. If you've been working mostly in Federation and Alliance space recently, you may have built up your reputation with them whilst neglecting your Empire reputation.

If this is the case, then don't worry - it only decays to just shy of Allied. A job or two for an Empire faction should restore it.

Haven't been in federation or alliance space in months and I have constantly been bounty hunting / trading etc in empire space.
