Was going to play for an hour; ended up playing all night...

I was lucky that i had Tuesday off when the game launched. I got 16 hours on it from 7:40am to 12:30 at midnight. Played till 12:30 midnight again yesterday but I'mholiday from Saturday so I'mgoing to have to try and get earlier nights. Dam you JW:E

I had to restarted the second island after some frustration realising i just hadn't planned out my park well at all, Velociraptors were too far away from my ACU meaning i could't put them to sleep during storms, or at least not fast enough. But that was only the real source of annoyance and that was of my own creation or lack of understanding.

Only major issue I've had was loosing 2 hours to a corrupt save, i think due to my PC locking up in strange fashion. Very addicted at the moment.

The funny thing is that when I'm researching a new dinosaur fossil and nearing the 50% genome, I actually DO watch the progress. You know, because I want to be THERE when it happens. :)

Daddy! :D

I'm deliberately pacing myself too. Have unlocked island 3 (Tacano) and Nublar but am back on Matanceros mucking about. Can't claim an all nighter like the OP - you wild man - but considering I've 27 hours logged and the game has only been RELEASED for 48 .. it's obviously doing something right.

Is it bad if the game's been out for 48 hours (on Steam) and I've already played 15.5? No, right? [where is it][where is it][where is it]

Na, I've only got 18 hours and one unplanned sleepless night so far, so you're doing pretty well for yourself. :)

Yep, definitely ended up playing from ~6:00PM to 2:00AM last night. It sort of has that Civilization feel where you just want to finish one more thing before you go to bed, and then the time just slips by.
