Was Hickam Survey in Ngalinn named after Homer Hickam, Authour of October Sky and NASA Engineer?

More than likely not a coincidence. I think kickstarter backers were given the option to put names in for stations and npc names, but i could be wrong. It might have only been NPCs.
Homer Hickam, or possibly Horace Hickam, the namesake of Hickam Air Force Base. Likely Homer though, given the NASA connection. Starports are named after persons connected to space travel, explorers, and persons connected to science fiction media. There's 10s of thousands of starports, so some of the names are rather obscure.
