It's awesome when that happens.

The weird thing was that even though we targeted the pirate Farragut and got the wanted scanned on it. Our Wing attacked it and then we got marked as wanted.

WE WERE TRYING TO SAVE THE FEDERAL SHIP AND THE FEDS PUT A BOUNTY ON US!!!!!!

Happens regulary but only in federal systems. Distress call thread 4 means often pirate farragut vs federal farragut ;)

But be careful, one single stray shot on the fed battlecruiser and you'll have a problem :D
They have no patience and know no pardon^^

Yeh, it seems 50% of them are doing it. The other 50% must be too embarrassed.

It seems to me this is spot on, if you're looking for "immersion." Name any first world government on the globe, that doesn't have it's head where the sun doesn't shine. I can't imagine it would be any different in 1300 years either. :D

LOL and the flight systems are based on the ZX81, those old babies crashed all the time and still work even in 3303 ;)

Not really incredible that for the n'th time I almost got killed by the Capital Class Ship's stretching/moving/rotating(?) hitbox.

Indeed it's awesome.

However I have a problem with pirates flying a Farragut.

It's like seeing Somali pirates piloting an Aircraft Carrier or a Nuclear Sub.

The pirates set up an ambush in a hazres behind a big asteroid. When a patrol fighter launched from the local law enforcement came close enough, they quickly shot out the canopy and replaced the pilot, then they docked at the farragut like the trojan rabbit, out popped lancelot, galahad and I...oh wait, sorry, the pirates, and commandeered it.
