So I was trading away in my PvE T7 and making some credits to pay the bills when, whilst my docking computer was doing its thing, a CMDR Imperial Clipper nipped in front of me and knocked me spinning off course. It boiled up a bit of space rage in me and once I'd regained control and saw the Clipper just above my landing pad I couldn't resist

Four pips to shields and boost!!

Well I must say Imperial Clippers make excellent brakes. I lost most of my A5 shields but stopped nigh on perfectly above my landing pad. Sadly the Clipper went flying into the station and exploded.

Now I feel guilty.

There's no such thing. The OP is under the mistaken impression that one can separate PvE from PvP in Open play.
