Couple of days ago I've started (coldstarted my game session/instance) being in my SRV near one of the planetary settlements - once again on the way of updating my "side notes" (I've neglected them for more than a year). When finished I've boarded my ship, lift it and started climbing in order to proceed to my next destination on the nearby planet - and when my fingertip was already millimeters away from "engage supercruise" - BOOM! -
No power, no engine and a bounty on my head - all this while free-falling right into the welcoming hands of the system security forces - already "angry red" - you surely know what I'm speaking of. Ok, due to low gravity and that this impact has been taken place kilometers above the surface I have had enough time to recover engines and flee...
As far as I understand the real cause was a "just-in-time" generated "random POI" somewhere beneath my ship and a skimmer that was supposed to guard it.
