Was the Diamondbacks a Lakon\DeLacy joint venture?

This has always been in the back of my mind and I have heard it mentioned before in passing. But Lore wise are the Diamondbacks a joint venture between Lakon and DeLacy? There are a few albeit small things that hint towards it (the Delacy keyboard for instance in the DBX). Diamondback....even its name follows the DeLacy naming scheme. Its also not build like any other Lakon Vessel (minus the Alliance line we are not talking about those) The DBX is clearly built for for combat in addition to exploration with the ships impressive jump range and hard point types and placements. The DBX offers impressive firepower leading to being able to defend itself from anything it might possibly run into in the black. It makes sense why it is such a capable combat vessel in addition to is impressive jump range. The Scout Variant is both are light and agile combat craft with a Impressive jump range and great heat.. This is a very strict departure from the Freighter "Type=X" ship line that Lakon is really known for. Its styling also is Vastly different then anything else from Lakon at the time (Once again not talking about the alliance line)
