Have you racers ever run the ground ports? The round ones. You can get inside the station from outside and there’s tons of roads & open space.

Climbing around some Horizon engineers' settlements is fun (not the boring generic ones but the original quirky ones). Lots of pipes, weird structures, gantries, "caves" etc...

Just another thought here as well, was there any mention at just how far this customisation will go, as in is this going to be limited to the outside of the station (colours), or were there hints that it might be more involved, for example broadly speaking not just limited to colours but station internal cosmetics etc.
Not being aware of all this I posted a topic roughly concerning this up in Suggestions...
In any event, this is an interesting development. If Frontier are considering player built station customisation (Cosmetically) this would be pretty neat, depending on how it's programmed.
