CQC Was this the result of really bad desync with the server?

Played some CQC last night, and noticed in a match one player had some very sudden lateral movements. Thankfully i was recording, because I cant explain it other than some really bad desynchronization with the server or something. Not sure...

Momentarily brief sync issue is what that looks like, a lot of times this will be because a player has a bad connection.
