I'm all about the running away, I need to see whether the chase goes for the strays or the pack before I commit to one or the other though :D

Maybe I'll see you if you head for Tenebris...

I think your suspicion is right.

My take is that in its 10 years lifespan, the storyline will take us through an invaded bubble with anarchy, pockets of resistance, internal fights and so on before re-emergin in a big way in the last few years. But I'm all in for the ride! :)

Yeah. I have a feeling that there'll be a reputation system with the aliens, similar to the superpowers. Probably won't be visible, so you won't see your alien rep' on the panel, but it'll be there in the background, working.

Personally I'd like to keep myself neutral if possible.

Yo Un1k0rn...your post intrigued me...I'm pottering about mining and trying to make a few mill Cr here and there...made a little bit and, due to having 2 accounts thought "I'm up for a bod somewhere..been toying with the Beagle Point trip.. I came into Elite the week Distant Worlds set off and wasn't able to go...and boy has it done my head in! I would LOVE to have that Insignia on my AspEx, but I'm going to have to settle for just getting there....if ya fancy a Wingman to BP...who can only put in 2houts (but that is EVERY night!) and wanna crack in to BP gimme a shout...I'm up for a trip anywhere as long as it s interesting so the call is yours Cmdr

My own theory is that there will be a war between Thargoids and Guardians that will take place mostly out of the bubble, but will impact the side of the bubble closest to it. That way we can have all the excitement of joining in with a war if we wish, but can also just watch from the sidelines instead. The problem Frontier has is making this stuff completely optional.
