Wasn't a HazRes supposed to be police free?

And yet 3 wings of Deadly Anacondas scout the HazRes. Like, why? How? What the actual frameshift drive?

GO AWAY! And then, when I try to shoot them because they stupidity of going full nuts due to a 200 cr bounty will summon MORE OF THEM in a HazRes. No, no NO! Once again! WRONG! YOU ARE WRONG! A HazRes isn't supposed to summon police forces so WHY ARE THERE POLCIE FORSES ?!

Is this intentional or just yet another one of a thousand bugs? Gosh. I swear the day we get a toggle to disable all NPCs I will actively support Open PvE.

200cr is a huge amount of cash. How many tonnes of food can can you buy with that?

And you shoot the police and they stupidly call for back up?

Yes something is wrong with this situation and way of thinking.

I think it might be related to the security level of the system.

I was in a REZ (High) yesterday, where I expected to see Authority ships... yet none were there.. not even after multiple fights (and yes my Report Crimes is turned on).

Anyways... if you are being bothered by the po-po in the HAZREZ you could always jump out to supercruise and then re-enter the HAZREZ or simply quit to Main Menu and then log back in and the HAZREZ should be reset (thus, hopefully, no po-po)

This is dufficult in Open or Private. :p After all it did reset the instance as we all were resetting it but just 2 minutes later the popo showed uo again where it is supposed to not enter a HazRes. Even if I randomly choose a spot these 3 wings will follow me through every millimeter of that system and sometimes even randomly drop in and scan when I am somewhere in deep space. It's not like that I emit a signal source or smth like that. They just cheat and it needs to stop. If I shoot the police and more come OUTSIDE of the HazRes I am okay with that but the HazRes was supposed to be police free, especially when it is just a 200 cr bounty.

Noticed this since 2.1

It sucks hairy ones. Really. When we fought the game couldn't cater to babies any more...

Hi res says "system link broken" or something along those lines. It doesn't mean NPC cops won't be in the HAZ RES, just that the crime reporting is off.

I shot them to check wheather or not more would come to the HazRes when the system alert link is supoosed to be offline. That said, my experiment and test results prove that statement as false as is a counter evidence to what has been stated by FD when they first introduced the HazRes. I ak not sure about changes made to that but as far as I can tell, police have nothing to do in a HazRes. Doesn't mean I shouldn't get wanted for shooting at clean targets but I don't want to focus on random and stupid NPCs entering my line of fire and I GET A BOUNTY FOR THEIR STUPIDITY!

And then 'suddenly' the popo shows up for a 'random' stop and scan. I feel like an eastern man who is 'about to get randomly selected' at some 'international' airport for 'routine' checks.

Clearly not.

It is actually vice versa to my understanding. You still get wanted for breaking the law but police shouldn't show up instantly.

Hello Commander Crimson Kaim!

Hmm, hazardous resource extraction locations and compromised nav beacon locations should not have authority ships present, (I also think that there should be no back up response).

Please submit a bug for this.

They have since the beginning. My best guess is that someone is pulling them into the Zones, my biggest suspects are the Powerplay Vehicles. Take the current Alliance CG in Fedmich as example, go to a HazRes at #8 and wait. When you see PP-Vehicles (Enforcers, Sirius Security and all the scumm) there´s an 80 % chance of Authority popping in as well.

Edit: Of course HazRes, not HiRes - Typo corrected.

Security is supposed to be at high res, I guess you meant haz res?

Are crimes reported when attacking someone?

While law enforcement scout it at times it might very well be that they do not receive distress calls FROM such an area unless they are there.

Haz res and cnb should mean more intense criminal activities and criminals presence there

Why should the authorities absent from there if the place is literally marked for everyone to see?

The broken comm link is just a weak, lazy and illogical excuse.

I reported this bug back in 2.1 beta too. You can also get NPC police in Anarchies, which ??? I've also reported a bug where stations change allegiance to often disastrous results.

I bet these three are all related.

It happens to me as well. It was before the current update.
If you have a bounty on your head and authorities interdicted you - and you escaped through the escape vector. They somehow still follow you.

I agree that this is a continuing problem. For some months it has made it inconvenient to hunt PvP Powerplay enemies in HazRes in Control Systems due to NPC interference.

Will someone kindly remove these irritating police officers?

Confirmed - Haz RES in Fedmich are contaminated by authorities.
Also confirmed - AI is stupid about player bounties and will abandon firefights already engaged to attack, which includes ships authority ships were previously engaging. Really needs overhauled. It makes me think like this:

"This is SEAL Team 6, we are engaged in heavy fire, repeat we are engaged in heavy, oh, look, that guy just stole a cookie. New target acquired."

I see authority vessels in HAZREZ about half the time.
