Water always muddy - what do I do wrong?

Hey there!
Everytime I see Screenshots, the water is immensly clean and you can see to the ground.
I have "Water always clean" on in my zoo. But it is always muddy, like a puddle of rain. I tried change the underground but to no avail. What am I doing wrong? Do I have a weird bug? My graphic card is good, I have all details on high, drivers are up to date.

Has anyone else ran into the problem?

What biom is your zoo in? I think I read somewhere that the rainforest now has muddy water instead of nice clean water like the other maps. Could be that maybe?

Can you send a Screenshot? Maybe this could help to solve the problem

Is this only in New tropical Zoos or tropical Zoos in South America? I'm pretty sure last Time I was in my tropical African Zoo, the Water was clean

Maybe it is in your graphic settings? I know some settings can have an effect on water or other things when you change them

Honestly I don't know. Like I said I only read it somewhere and didn't have time to check it myself so no idea if it's actually true.

Agree that a screen might help, though.

Maybe it's dirty......but without warning. It even appears muddy in normal mode before the display turns red in the heatmap.
Example : In the lower picture it's dirty, but in the heatmap still blue.

if it's possible try to remove and refill and look if there is a difference ( of course save before try)

Edit:
nope I just ticked the clean-water options and it works like a zoo-wide treatment, the water turns slowly clean.

I do have a Theory. There is a Setting when you place Water where you can choose how clean it is. Maybe Swjosdotschka used it for something and forgot to turn it off. Maybe it doesn't get cleaner than it was when it was placed

It's the way the game works, in every biome. The water color is automatically adjusted to its height. After placing the water and let the game leave on play it's cleaned within 1-2 IRL minutes.
Here 3 different water heights (most shallow one in the front) for comparison:
