Water Cleanliness

My Gharials are drinking from the pond they swim in but the water is dirty. How do I make it clean again? I call keepers to the enclosure to clean but they just hoover up poop and the water stays dirty.

I feel the learning curve on franchise mode is steep and the tutorials in game at present... lacking.

You'll need a water purifier, make sure it's powered and the pond is situated within its radius.

While we're at this topic, did anybody try if the percentage of water body covered by the purifier radius has any effect on water quality or a speed of filtration?
I.e. if I have a pond on the very edge of WP reach and it only covers a small part of the pond and the rest is outside - does it still clean the water just as efficiently?
