WATER EXPANSION PACK - is Frontier secretly already working on it?

Hi all. I've had this game since it was in Alpha, April last year, and it's a masterpiece.

However, most of the community seems to want a water expansion pack. And with recent updates which introduced DLC which require you to pay for it, I totally wouldn't mind paying for a water expansion pack. Even if it means paying up to NZ$50 for it or so. I just want it real bad.

- swimming pools
- a variety of water slides
- diving boards

The following is optional but preferable
- bumper boats
- jet boating
- dolphin/seal/whale show
- marine animals, and aquariums

I remember how the community was surprised when in one of Frontier's YouTube videos, they revealed the log flume and river rapid rides, would be in the game. And the tremendous amount of praise Frontier got for putting those water rides in the game. Imagine amount of happiness it would bring if and when Frontier adds such an expansion pack/DLC.

I really hope they're already secretly working on it and really would like them to release it by December 2017 or January 2018 at the latest. I would even pay NZ$100 for it, which would be about UK$45/pounds, since 1 pound = roughly about NZ$2.30 (it's been like that for a while, UK$ is twice the worth of the NZ$.

How many others on here would also want/like a water expansion pack?.....

As long as they could get aquarium animals and stuff out, or swimming pools (preferably) with water slides out. Maybe they'll get them both out eventually.

Before they do that, there should be a Boat Ride (Darkride) and the Omimover put in first. Not that hot about the Water Addon, but if people really want it that bad, sure ^^

Yeah, I also would like to have an Addon. I also miss some waterrides but also I would like to have playgrounds with functioning objects, children flatrides and of course finally the missing ride signs which I'm waiting for such a long time or at least a tool which provides the making of of the signs in a similiar form.

If I remember correctly this question was asked a few months back and they were very open about the idea. However, I don't think they would all of a sudden come out in this topic and say "yes, we're working on it" just because you asked.
December and January to me feel like unrealistic deadlines and it just wouldn't make sense to drop such an update in the middle of winter. If they are developing this update already, I'd be looking for it some time next summer (july/august). I'd rather have them take the time to create a beautiful DLC anyway. [up]

With all respect, why is it so many times whenever somebody has an idea they need to add "I am willing to pay for it".

Sounds a bit desperate and although depending on the content I wouldn't mind paying for it too but it's such a bad way to convince someone.

Personally (OPINION) I don't want water pools and stuff. Water attractions yes please, but I think Waterparks are something different than a themepark.

Whenever a lot more rides and coasters and a lot of scenery has been added then they could think about a water expansion, but it's not my cup of tea.

I could have written that :D

I agree a full 100% I feel like waterparks/pools and themeparks are 2 separate things. Planet Coaster is a themepark game and there is SO much more to add in the Themepark direction. Like Crowdpleaser mentioned we still don't have omnimovers, boat rides, etc etc ...

After that im fine with pools and stuff or even animals, but only after we are done with the pure themepark stuff :)
(Ofcourse, it's all just matter of opinion)

Water themed theme park rides, and water physics, yes please, but water parks are something else.

Water park expansion was amazing in RCT3, but there's too much lacking from gameplay and management side to hope for this expansion now. I would prefer the team work to improve the basic game before adding water expansion.

Oh no.. please no waterparks.. In my opinion, this would be a nice seperately game..
I would like to see more waterrides, like splashboats, boatrides, dolphinshows.. this would be great!

Yes, no Waterparks.....Water Physics by all means, and Water Rides in general: Boat Ride, Pedalos (various) Rowing Boats etc......and I wouldn't say so to some Swans and Ducks [big grin].....while I'm at it, get rid of the Pigeons.........instead, Robins, Blackbirds, , etc , depending on terrain of course.

Exactly! There's many themepark things that could be added before I'll be thinking "Water slides is what this game needs!".

Instead a copy of the RCT3 expansions I hope for NEW things.

Is it really that so many want it? Here in the forum I've read about 10 people that they want it and all the others are against waterparks..

I personally would love new things rather than a copy of what came before, but I am happy for them to come eventually. If they came now I wouldn't be unhappy, but I would much rather have more water rides than water park slides and pools.
