Found one last night , I'm only 2000 ly out plus a few water worlds enjoying my exploration first trip out fitted an asp with my credits from the lugh conflict, enjoy your trip make sure you get back safe

Nice find Cmdr! :) Water giants are rewarding.

I found two on my last journey, both quite similar: 25,000km radius, surf temp around 175K and 98,4% water athmos (0,5% ammonia, 0.5% methane). They had this brown hue and icy rings:

Are water giants rare? I found a couple on my very first exploration journey, and very close to civilized bubble, thought they where common and never looked for them again...

Are water giants rare?

Rarest thing on my trip thus far (42000LY). I've found tens of ELW, hundred or more of WW, hundred or more terraformables, ringed neutrons, binary black holes.........I've even found my keys I lost three years ago but I've found ONE (1) Water Giant so yes, pretty rare for me. Not so much for everyone else it seems :D

Funny how that works, yeah? I've found dozens of Water Giants in my 965 systems visited to date, but only 2 Earthlikes. :)

Found one yesterday, about 5k ly out, just before reaching the Cats Paw nebula.

Far more rare than water worlds or earth-likes this far at least, although poor basis for statistics yet obviously.

Reaching one of my sub targets on the way to Sag. A today, a trinary black hole. Unsure on the ranges between them tho - may be spectacular, then agian, may not be.

Ammonia worlds(not ammonia giants) and water giants are the rarest in my book.
Guys, even rarer, apparently, are Earth-Like worlds that orbit other planets(like gas giants). I have only heard of one of these.
