Let's make a kickstart to glue Elite with Subnautica and DCS for atmospheric flights and BAM, best game of the century.
Subnautica is to cartoony to go with elite.
There was actally a vessel capable of this in the original Elite: 1984, well at least in description.
The Moray Star Boat (or just Moray)
I would love to see this reimagined and implemented into the game for it's original purpose, but first we need to be able to actually interact with atmospheric worlds.

We want air launched subs! And I guess air dockable too and if like two versions, one srv like and one slf-like.
