Water Rides / Track Rides - too slow to load and unload

Firstly, I have to say the game is amazing, absolutely fantastic.

Does anyone have any tips to speed up the load/unload time for rides with single vehicles such as the log flume or rapids. In my parks it takes so long to get guests on and off the throughput of the ride is next to nothing. Makes all the wonderful theming and scenery a waste as only a few guests can get on the ride as the queue line moves so slowly.

Would be great if the load and unload time was reduced for smaller vehicles like boats, magic cat, car ride etc

you can't do much about it and you have to live with the always same timing: all rides won't open the entrance until all passengers are behind the exit door. at least no unsporty peeps missing the train and blocking others or won't fit through the door.

what you can do for a ride to get best results:

- if the option is given, choose a station with entrance / exit on different sides.
- place doors each side in the middle of the train

then you have the shortest ways for all passengers, exiting and entering. this makes it just a bit better.

far more impact comes by adding more trains to a ride. imho best frequence is if one train has left the station and the next train arrives immediately afterwards. you can play with settings of track ride speeds or coaster lifthill speeds to achieve the desired result. if peeps could load but there's no train to catch, it simply adds more wait-time to the queue.

that said, try to avoid multiple trains inside a station, this doesn't add to the time in queue but has other downsides : lower excitement ratings, hungry peeps or even starving peeps if the ride is broken and no technician is available. imho a technician should wait until all trains in station are unloaded, but somehow it's forbidded to exit a train in station if Mr. Fixit is at work.

I agree; the current system works for coasters because those can load many people in one train, but fails for tracked rides like the log flume or vintage cars because loading/unloading takes too long for individual cars. What would be better for these kinds of rides is to let a new group board as soon as the previous one has gotten off, plus to allow riders to get off the car as soon as it has stopped inside the station (including when it has stopped but is not the front car yet). This also makes longer stations for these kinds of rides more useful.
