Water world without water?

well i just found this planet and was wondering if i understand it right it has no water ?

Well technically there is 2% of the atmosphere not listed so it could still be Water. I certainly wouldn't have pegged it for a WW though, and I have seen a great variety.

There could well be vast oceans but you would never see them without descending through that dense CO2 atmosphere.

Exactly this. It's basically Venus, but but with less CO2, colder, and before the water oceans were boiled way. With all that volcanism, it is just a matter of time though unless the star is so cold that it's already at/near thermal equilibrium.
