Condensation cores can be the result of a variety of compounds in the atmosphere. For example, traces of ammonia can react to form particulate which is a bit of an issue in agricultural areas if you're on the fine dust hype train.
The OP was in relation to the origin of such cores in the atmosphere and the possibility they originate from meteorites.

But I guess one can determine the chances of clouds by reading in information a detailed surface scan gives. The composition of the atmosphere might give hints about chemical reactions that may happen and will form condensation cores. If there is any form of life reported the lifeforms themselves may produce chemicals that act as condensation cores.

Here's the 2nd and 3rd version I posted above. I haven't found the 3rd one yet as I'm heading into the bubble, but these two the only cloud like thing you might mistake for clouds is the star glare off the planet's water or the polar ice caps, but there are no clouds in either of these 2 versions and I don't think there are any in the first one above either...
