Pottering around on a moon tonight I was disappointed to note that the wavescanner audio is now totally useless. Even going as slow as 8klicks the motor noise drowned out the full-volume wavescanner audio. Why bother having it if you can't use it?

The volume on that thing has always been useless for me. I just learned how to read the visual signatures.

Really though, I think the last time that thing was at useful volume was back in the 2.0 beta phase.

This problem has been around for a long long time and is just not a priority for the dev's. They don't even respond to the complaint. Either turn the volume up or allow us to adjust the various sounds the SRV makes to make it work.
