Hi. I would like to suggest a way of responding to griefing by adding to the richness of the game, instead of something artificial like reporting players.
So I go to farseer to get some upgrades for my fsd in a ship without weapons (dont need them just to deliver my meta alloys, right?), when a heavily armed FDL, just camping over the base, takes out my shields, kills my engines and watches me as I drop, screaming, into the ground. Hilarious.
Now I know things like this will happen. I expected it to happen more often actually. So I put on my Big Boy pants, get my combat ship, ready to track this guy down and deliver sweet justice on his vile @ss. I find the most wanted list at the station, he's right at the top. His last known location is 100 ly from here. Thats great!
I go there but I dont see him around, so I dock at the closest station only to find that there is no list here. That's fine. Surely there is a way to find out his new last known location from here, right? Nope. I would need to fly all the way back and check the list again. That is NOT fine.
I want my REVENGE!!
There is no real way of tracking players with bounties on them that I know. So to make player hunting better I would like to suggest a few things.
1. Higher bounties on people that KILL commanders.
2. The ability to take out a kill warrant on a wanted player from a bounty board. This can be pinned and will update the last known location of your target. If the warrant was issued in, say an imperial system, you may attack that player in imperial space without repercussions.
3. A subtle way of showing if the target is online in open play.
4. Easier and faster way for Pirate players to steal cargo. Pirating needs to be more lucrative against players and NPC's to give more players incentive to do it, thus giving more players a reason to get bounties on them and play the bad guy. I can so easily find NPC's with more than 70 low temp diamonds, but can hardly steal 12 before they expire and/or he blows up.
Please feel free to add any suggestions or criticism.
