I'm sure this has been asked or discussed but I did a quick search and came up empty, but besides the $5 ship skins and the initial backing package is there any way I can contribute to the future development of Elite? I know the funding is continuing through sales of the game since release but I worry if that diminishes how can the current fans keep a game we enjoy going strong. And I'm not talking about buying new ships or credits to P2W, but being able to support the ongoing and future efforts through other cosmetic or quality of life improvements, lore, or even insider subscriptions on content?

Some ideas:
- More ship customization skins - in addition to larger selection of paint jobs, neon lighting on hull, glass tinting, etc.
- Avatar customization - I know this will come later with avatar/pilot outside of ship functionality, but we can still see our suit, gloves, gear. How about the ability to change that up for now.
- Cockpit customization - Interface stuff has been mentioned but how about some keepsakes and personalization items in my cockpit. i.e. a faction sticker, personal photo (fake), bobble head, small plant, etc.
- Outside of the game how about a subscription service to support other efforts. Early fiction snippets, insider members forums, etc. Nothing excluding the overall community as a whole, just something to give others earlier incentive and keep investments going towards the game, so I wouldn't suggest putting thousands of dollars and tremendous amounts of time into non-game stuff.
- Hell honestly, just a "Help Fund Us!" button that doesn't get me anything via PayPal would be nice!
