We are potentially staring down the barrel of another entire year for Fdev to even fix their mistakes.
Just like with Exquisite Focus crystals being unreasonably impossible to find for an entire year. We probably aren't going to see a change to the beige and as far as I am concerned "bugged" and broken planets colors for a full 365 days at least. Fdev has been content to allow things that are clearly broken to continue to exist in game for ungodly lengths of time why should this be any different? Many people complained that they could have taken care of some of these things in a hot fix just like that (not the planets but almost everything else). And they are absolutely right. Fdev probably could have. But they chose not to. And I am sure with this update we will get a new batch of shenanigan's to be added to the "eventually" list. While in the meantime we will be forced to deal with the bugs whatever they end up being. For whatever length of time we are cursed to suffer them this time around. Though thankfully I do think that the worst of the bugs has past. So it won't be AS horrible this time. Hopefully...
I don't mind waiting a long time for an update that is just how that works. But you can't be allowed to stagger bug fixes to line up with updates like you seem to have done in the past. It really devalues the content of the actual updates when I am more excited about a bug going away than I am any actual new content coming in.
All I really ask is if there is some shenanigan's that arises. Just jump on it within the first month. Don't make us wait almost a year for whatever nonsense that will be plaguing us to be done away with. Take your time developing content, do it right. But for the bugs that will inevitability come up you need to put that pedal to the metal. 0 tolerance. No quarter. Hoorah! Only good bug is a dead bug. That is the attitude I want to see when it comes to bug fixes.
