We are the industrious bees that spread life all over the universe.

I'm at the Horsehead Nebula right now, it's actually closed. Nevertheless a few systems are very close. Most only suns. But when there are planets in a system, they have it all!

From a distance with VSS and also with surface scans, only "geological signals" are reported to you. But if you fly down and scan e.g. "water-ice-fumarole" there is Geological + Biological life form. And truly the things LIVE and are INTELLIGENT !
At the beginning I thought somehow coincidence, but then it became more and more strange ...
Then I examined it more systematically !

  • The water-ice fumaroles react to bombardment from the SRV
  • If you sit on a funnel, it goes out. After a while it is on again.
  • After a while, the fumaroles learn: You just have to drive up, stand in front of them - and, they go out voluntarily. On its own without fire

I succeeded (after harvesting extremely good grade 4,5 Mats) in extinguishing almost all fumaroles.

It was also funny that I didn't see all Mats sources in the beginning - but I can only imagine that. It seemed to me that only gradually did the "blossoms" reveal themselves.

But that was clear:
After I had managed to extinguish the field, I went back to the ship.
On board I saw that suddenly all the water ice fumaroles burned again and smoked meters high.

You may declare me crazy or a crazy person. I tell you:
THEY WANT TO PLAY LIKE CHILDREN

Supplement:

I'm still at the Horsehead Nebula. Now I'm going after "bark hill" - a clearly biological way of life !

Here you can collect different things and you will immediately associate them with plants - excretion, growth, seed capsule. Of course they "turn" into elements (Mats).

But it is really "dawned" for me when I saw that these Cordycepin growths of the bark hills continue to glow even after they have been shot down.

In other words the Cordycepin "lives" on! And we industrious "bees" transport it through half the universe ...

Do you get it?

So I finally get it!

P.S:
Now it's getting a little esoteric:

at the bark hills there are good and bad "growths" for collecting. I checked Wikipedia. Some are unpleasant growths (diseases). The others very useful (e.g. for medicine). Then there are seed capsules and a phloem excretion, which is one of the most valuable in the field (selenium, for example). I didn't take EVERYTHING with me. I left some of that excrement behind to help the biotope survive. I just shot down the pathological growths and left them lying there - maybe the bark hills grow healthy. And I don't want to bring in the sick!

All the high-grade mats are nice, though. But if I imagine it this way: the "benign growths" - Cordycepin (which also really shine and shine nobly) were only iron, nickel, sulphur, etc. loud 1st Mats.

I know I'm crazy ...

I have the noblest iron in stock what you can imagine !

It's nice that there's intelligent life somewhere out in space,
'Cause there's all down here on Earth!
