ThisUse SRV.
SRV can kill them from 200+ meters away, the AI doesn't even kick in above 100m. At best they'll do one dodge move, then just stand still to be mowed down.SRV tend to be destroyed by handheld guns. But yeah, we could get an Railguns and an LMG. Man, i can concept that stuff in no time...
If you wanna find excuses for the game, yeah, there is a lot that can kill enemies, however, is fun? Seems just cheesing, it's not entirely bad per se but it is. Sphere of Combat seems very weird in comparison with Space Combat and Ship Outfitting.SRV can kill them from 200+ meters away, the AI doesn't even kick in above 100m. Yep, it is cheesing, because the sphere of combat as such doesn't exist. Handheld weapons do unrealistically high damage to ships, but the NPCs won't even react unless you move your ship into their range. When a ship turns up, they should scramble to get to some form of cover to be safe from dumbfire inferno, they should grab anti ship bazookas, their dropships should provide active cover against other ships and also be able to deploy SRV to counter player SRVs. All the while the player has full access to the sphere of combat as it should be. The NPCs have nothing, that is failed game design, plain and simple. You can either go in on foot voluntarily and risk getting zerged, or annihilate the NPCs from complete safety. There is no balanced in between. If you wanna find excuses for the game, yeah, there is a lot that can kill enemies, however, is fun? Seems just cheesing, it's not entirely bad per se but it is. I raided a military base by sniping every single commando in the compound. So yeah you can camp the AI but it won’t do with players as they see the plasma ball coming.Camper has been detected.
