We Love The MODS!!! This is for you!!!

Ian Phillips got in touch and asked "P can you fix it for us to make a nice song for the forum mods who work so hard during this alpha"

I of course said... sure... and the Mission for Modmus was created and together with many of the forum members we hammered out a song and then some of us recorded it and made what will really show how much we respect the moderators and the hard work they put in.

A Song for the Mods

Lyrics :

Its Alpha time,
we thought you'd all go and play..
At Alpha time,
your constant posting drives us insane
We had good lives before this alpha,
But those lives are dead and gone…
All we do is moderate this alpha time

So say a prayer
Pray for the forum mods
At Alpha time their job is hard while we’re having fun
There's a world outside their windows
That they’ll never get to see
as they sit at their computers. only getting up to pee
A thousand post’s to get through and then they can get some sleep…
Well tonight lets mod ourselves.. and let them be…

Help the MOOODs
Help them through this alpha time
Be In Control
Don’t become a forum tool

There won't be time for Christmas this Alpha time
The greatest gift they'll get is no more posts
but, when everybody goes
and fills forums with their prose
Will they have some Alpha time at all?
Hug a MOOOD
Help them through this alpha time
Be In Control
Don’t become a forum tool

Here's to us, thinking we all know the most
Here's to them, merging and then closing posts
Do we know the forum rules at all?

Hug a MOOOD
Help them through this alpha time
Be In Control
Don’t become a forum tool

Hug a MOOOD
Help them through this alpha time
Be In Control
Don’t become a forum tool

Hug a MOOOD
Help them through this alpha time
Be In Control
Don’t become a forum tool

Hug a MOOOD
Help them through this alpha time
Be In Control
Don’t become a forum tooll

Hug a MOOOD
Help them through this alpha time
Be In Control

I think it really demonstrates how much we feel for our dear hard working forum mods...

They should sit back and sip mulled wine in their festive jumpers relaxing to the sweet sounds of this beautiful track!

Can't rep you all for this, but it's superb. Good work all, and an echo to "thanks" sentiment to the Mods.

Erm... I'd just like to say that although my name (Helen) is mentioned as being involved, I didn't actually sing any of it! Unfortunately my only contribution was being part of a Skype group while the wording was decided. :p I never got around to making a recording due to being at work during the days and busy with Xmas preparations in the evenings. I was going to have a go yesterday - but before I could I received some brilliant news about my job (Voluntary Redundancy/Early Retirement application approved! :D) and the excitement of that took over everything else.

At least by about the time of the 1st Beta I should be finished work and be in a better position to do some testing! :)

Something special for special people(MODS)..makes you wonder what they would do for their enemies?!!! :D

Excellent guys and thanks Mods.

Glorifying mods isn't healthy for a community I don't think. There should be a certain distance so they can keep making impartial decisions.

That was so touching. Thank you all SO much. You are all SOOOOOOOOOOOOO awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:):):):):)

It brought tears to my eyes............tears of joy of your great kindness and appreciation, tears of laughter ;)

It's getting :eek: all through the mod team. :)
