We need a big, really big update.

What about doing a really big free update. I see dlc's, spooky dlc, adventure dlc, studios dlc. But i miss some big update. I know that dlc's are obviously more good cause you pay for them, but in general, it would be good to get a big update for people who paid the game and we just play or buy some dlc's.

New pieces, improvements to UI, more management things, probably an overhaul to prices, new scenerys, new rides, etc.

I mean, we have had free updates that change this type of things, but i would like to see a bigger update, and more now that we are aproaching the 2 years of release game.

I totally agree with you. Hopefully Frontier is working on a big update for Planet Coaster that adds more shops, food stalls, more management and more flat rides. Frontier usually adds a new update or DLC to Planet Coaster every 3 months. With that being said the next update should be in June.[happy]

Maybe you have not noticed, that you've got a free update last tuesday too. Hotels are in the free update and not part of a paid DLC for example

Fully agree, this game feels incomplete, the problem lays more in the ride aspect than management aspect. We got last week a free hotel update for example.

First and foremost I like this game and the concept of Planet Coaster. But this game is incomplete, some incomplete elements are small things. A few examples: steeper drops and turning tables for the log flume. Make the water coaster accessible for kids. Also changing height for the free fall tower and observation tower.

An other thing, there is lack of rides: coasters and especially flat rides. I don't like to make a comparison with RCT2 but if they add many of the rides from RCT2. Gives the game more depth. More variety of shops could be also a good addition for this game. We should have a nice theme park simulator. The game lacks many themes, a few classic themes could also being added.

I love these comments -- Statement : "its incomplete " backing evidence: "because I said so"

The game is not incomplete. What you value as "required" or "completing" a game is entirely subjective. The devs have one idea, I have my own idea and you have your idea. If we kept this discussion as in "its complete when i say" one could argue the game would never ever be complete. We always would like more. Its important to get a game out the door you have a point of demarcation. You get it out, you call it released, and if you can manage add more DLC. Paid, free or otherwise.

Personally I'm always game for more content. But I would not go so far to say its incomplete. I said when It launched the amount of flat rides made my question the 44.00 price tag. Over time that concern was addressed. But these are all my feelings -- I would never go so far to say its incomplete. Im a developer by trade -- scope creep is and always will be a HUGE sticking point to me...

I wish they would make some flats from RCT3 like Round Up, Rotor, Gravitron, Double Ferris Wheel, Sky Swing, Slingshot, and more classic rides like a Chance Skydiver, and modern rides like S&S space shot.

The game only feels incomplete because the scope of the creativity is so vast. They are almost a victim of their own success in that respect as people will always want more, always have new ideas and always complain that their ideas are the “missing piece”.

Personally the game for me isn’t incomplete and any additional feature is an added bonus. Yes there are loads of things that are on my wish list and yes it could do with more depth but it doesn’t necessarily mean the core game isn’t already complete.

There are still plenty of things to come. Both PlanCo and the Studios pack are on the top sellers list on Steam and, the better the success, the more updates we will get.

This is exactly how I feel about the game. It's more than I expected. There is always more I would like but it's always a bonus.

It's crazy to think back at launch and remember how bare bones the game was. No security guards, no fireworks, no scenario editor, no go karts, no basic shops like water, soda, and pizza. I kind of feel like launch was more like the start of the beta. The game never really felt complete to me until after we got the scenario editor. But one things for sure, I love them free updates!

Or because it suffers in comparison to what we had in RCT3P. Couple months ago I went looking for some cows -- I remembered them, but couldn't find 'em. We have a Western theme with cowboys, but no cows? But if I "feel" like stuff's missing that's on me. [weird]

I think we can all agree that the game needs some more art pieces, a greater range of sizes for those art pieces, and more common pieces like windows, doors, wall textures and that sort of thing.

I'm not talking about DLC, I'm talking about stuff that just gives us more creative freedom.

For example, if you do a lot of work in the science fiction theme, which I do, you're severely limited with the choice of windows -- it's just a fact that the vast majority of windows are not appropriate for a SF setting, which unfortunately forces some repetitive design choices and limits creativity.

That's a separate thing than Spooky Tree #476 or a DLC themed to an old 80s TV show. That's cool, if people want that stuff, I have no problem with it. I would just like to see more options regarding the very basic stuff, and I really hope those things aren't all relegated to DLC.

FWIW I was very happy to see clear glass included in this new update, which gives us options in terms of creating our own windows and other things that can be built with glass panels. Stuff like that is always welcome.

It seems though that they are now mostly giving us themed DLC packs every three months with a free update thrown in. So, the next DLC pack will probably come in June. I still would like to see more flat rides, newer and older. And new tracked rides like sports cars. Working swimming pools and hot tubs like RCT3. Elevators that can have multiple stations like RCT3.

I think this game, in the first place, needs to get fixed, balanced and then new content should be added.

It´s shame some missing or broken features, that are also usually wanted by players are being ignored.

Then, I would be willing to pay for their packs or even if they added hotels as paid DLC, I would buy that. But...
